Measures
- Pages use headings, landmarks, and a skip link.
- Forms have visible labels, text errors, and a summary that receives focus when submission fails.
- The color palette keeps body text and links at a contrast intended to meet AA. Bronze and champagne are used for rules and for text on the midnight background, not for small text on ivory.
- Motion is limited when the browser asks for reduced motion.
- Photographs have descriptions. Decorative meridian lines are hidden from assistive technology.
- The site is designed for narrow and wide screens without a separate mobile site.
Known limits
- The country list is a long native select. It is keyboard accessible, and it is still a long control.
- If analytics are later enabled, those third-party scripts are outside this statement’s direct control.
- A full independent audit has not been completed. Remaining issues should be recorded in the project README as they are found.
Report a barrier
If something blocks you, email enquiries@meridian-exports.com with the page address, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology if you use one. We will reply with what we can change. This statement is not a legal waiver.
Compatibility
The site is built as ordinary HTML, CSS, and a modest amount of JavaScript for the menu, the enquiry form, and optional analytics. Pages can be read without the menu script. The enquiry form uses a server action and works best with JavaScript enabled.
